Tokyo
Quiet shrines early morning, seasonal colors in parks and gardens, neon alleys after dark, and the combination of traditional architecture with a bustling city.
Hakone
Natural escape with hot spring towns, forest paths and Hakone Shrine, an easy trip from Tokyo. For adventure couples.
Kawaguchiko and Mt. Fuji
Lake, mountain and, weather permitting, Fuji in the frame. I plan around timing so you get the best chance. Early morning my go to.
